Today, or maybe I should say yesterday, I met Eric Goldberg. He gave a wonderful presentation at my school. Like a character, he was amazing so I had to draw him.
Last year during Freshman Video Production we completed a match cut project. For my piece I took on a theme of vampires and their movements. I used scenes from Blade, Blade II, Daybreakers, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and 3Run footage. I used an instrumental version of Jack White and Alicia Keys’s Another Way to Die and one of Optimus Prime’s ending speeches. This is one of my favorite pieces completed thus far while being an Animation student at The University of the Arts.
Currently, I am working on my final for my Object Animation class. My final is a rotoscope piece of Nicolas Besnard and Ludivine Furnon. I have added the song Turning Page by Sleeping At Last and I plan to transform the dancing couple into a tree, symbolic of unity and togetherness.
April, in my Object Animation class we grouped up and had to create a 3 Dimensional puppet animation. My group and I created the concept of a sexy Skeleton who has captured a princess and placed her in his underground lair. This is a piece from the longer film, where to try to gain freedom she beatboxes for him.
February, in my Object Animation class we had to film or find a video to rotoscope. I absolutely LOVE The Quick Style Crew and their choreography is sick so I decided I’d do ten seconds from one of their slower videos.
